First I want to say what a lovely contrast of colour- this makes the shot stand out more than anything else. The purple, green and yellow tones work perfectly to bring your line of sight to the center of the photograph.

I also love the focus- only the petals directly around the place that the bee is sitting is a nice effect. The rest of the focus is soft which I think works well consider the subject- the delicate flowers and insect.

Overall I think this is a lovely shot with a nice depth of field and interesting and engaging colours.

i really love your photos, but this one is not your best.
i actually think that the background is far to bright. light, gentle yellow would increase the contrast between the flower and the bee and it would make them more visible.
i like the photo in the artist's comments much more
