I've shot these orchids against the light, on a gray and overcast day. The exposure has been corrected, when converting the image from RAW to JPG. The result is this nearly perfect white background and the natural yellow/orange color of the orchid's petals.

Beautifully shot. Cutting flowers from the background to isolate them looks good if done right. But shooting em like this is spectacular. :thumbsup:
