Members of the Blue Rider Group, like Marc, Kandinsky, Münter, Werefkin and Jawlensky were attracted and inspired by this area between Murnau and Kochel in Upper Bavaria, Germany. Franz Marc conferred the honorary title of The Blue Land on this country.
how beautiful! Now I certainly wouldn't mind at all spending a few days there, being able to stare at all that. I can even see the spot where I'd lay myself down in the tall grass.. See? *points* right there!
