Multitude

This photograph is an excellent example of how a very ordinary object can be made new and beautiful with the right artisan to capture it's magnificence. signmeupscotty always presents his photographs without much reverence for our beloved rule of thirds or use of color variety. Nonetheless, he crafts well composed photographs with rules all his own.

This piece has a subtle hint of pink to add contrast to the otherwise pale palette. There is a great use of depth of field. When used correctly, as here, it can really make or break a flower composition piece.

Not only that, but this artist has added the hint of exotic pattern into the well chosen subject. Perhaps he did not create the flower himself, but he has shown it's beauty in a way as to which a passer might have missed. He shows the beauty, but in his particular style.

It is this consistency I have grown to love in the photographs of signmeupscotty. Despite the plethora of flower shots, I find I'm always amazed and surprised by his new work. He always tries something new. This is no exception. Wonderful work!
